G5 Entertainment the developer and publisher of casual and Free-to-Play games for both smartphones and tablets that are family-friendly, easy to learn, and targeted at the widest audience of both experienced and novice players.
We're looking for seasoned freelance game translators to join our localization team and help us localize texts for our mobile games.
What will you do:
— Translate, proofread, edit, rewrite, and adapt in-game texts and related content to make them entertaining, accurate, and relatable to the audience for your country.
— Work closely with project teams — translators, managers, writers, and narrative designers — and provide cultural expertise regarding your country.
— Help us create, review, and update localization documentation, including style guides, glossaries, characters profiles, etc.
What we expect from you:
— 3+ years of written translation experience in the game industry or literary texts.
— A degree or background in creative writing, narrative design, journalism, linguistics, or translation.
— Experience with translation software (e.g., CAT-tools like memoQ or Trados Studio) or willingness to learn them, of course, with our help. It's not rocket science, trust us.
Please send us your CV along with a cover letter describing your relevant experience. If you qualify for this position, we may ask you to complete a small test task to assess your skills.
