G5 Entertainment AB is a Swedish mobile game publisher and developer. 20 years ago we became the first mobile developers in the CIS and since then we have been leading the game industry. We develop games in the genres of Match-3, Hidden Object, Mahjong Solitaire. Our portfolio includes 20+ world-class f2p projects, including Hidden City®, Jewels of Rome™, Mahjong Journey®, Homicide Squad®, Jewels of the Wild West™, etc.

We are looking for a candidate for the following position: Group Financial Controller

What you’ll do:

• Managing the Financial department and external accountants. Overall responsibility for the effectiveness of Financial function in the group;
• Full responsibility for the quality of accounting (IFRS, local GAAPs, management accounting);
• Owning and leading period-end process;
• Developing processes for the Financial department;
• Creating and updating management reports;
• Overall responsibility for the budgeting and forecasting processes;
• Follow-up of budget and report on deviations between budget and actuals;
• Being the main point of contact for external auditors (PWC) on all matters;
• Review and follow-up of audit reports, implementing changes recommended by auditors;
• Overseeing monthly reporting based on IFRS from subsidiaries;
• Owning the platform for processing of expense reports; approval of expense reports;
• Development and implementation of procurement controlling processes;
• Constant search for opportunities for the reduction of company’s costs;
• Leading the implementation of new consolidation and budgeting systems;
• Consulting internal stakeholders on financial-related matters, internal processes etc

Our requirements:

• Academic degree in Finances combined with at least 5 years’ experience of financial controlling and IFRS;
• Strong leadership skills;
• Desirable experience in consolidation systems and/or experience from implementing consolidation systems;
• Desirable experience in IT;
• Desirable experience from audit;
• Fluent in English and Russian;
• Proficiency in excel, experience from google suite of tools is meriting;
• ACCA/CIMA/CAP/CIPA certificate is a plus.
